WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

1

RUN, WALK OR ROLL

Wheelchair athletes, runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate. Walkers in the one mile walk will have a dedicated start corral at the starting line. Please note that strollers and pets are not allowed at the DAV 5K as per USA Track and Field regulations.

2

VOLUNTEER

Thanks for your interest in volunteering at the DAV 5K. We couldn’t make this race happen without you! Volunteering at the DAV 5K is a great way to meet the veterans in our Boston community and thank them for their service. On race day, volunteer shifts include assisting at packet pickup, where you will assist participants in picking up their DAV 5K bib number with timing chip and technical shirt. We also have positions to assist with registering participants, distributing food and beverages and much, much more. Shifts are typically 3-4 hours.

3

DONATE

DAV helps more than one million veterans each year in positive, life-changing ways, at no cost to them. With your help, we can ensure the ongoing success of our many veterans’ support programs and veteran services. When you support DAV, you support more victories for veterans.

We love when friends and family join us on race day-- they are absolutely invited to come watch and cheer you on!
