DAV 5K BOSTON
VIRTUAL CHALLENGE

Can’t join us at Castle Island on November 7? No problem, you can still support the DAV by running virtually!

The virtual DAV 5K Boston presented by Encore Boston Harbor is open to anyone- runners, walkers, handcyclers or pushrim wheelchair athletes. Our version of a virtual race means that by registering, you’re committing to 5 kilometers. Whether 5 kilometers means a course from your home, or staying at home and completing from a treadmill- how you do it is up to you. No matter what, just make sure that those 5 kilometers are completed only with those you are self-isolating with and according to recommended precautions. While you may be running, walking or handcycling on your own that day, remember, we are #alonetogether in this.

Our goal is to keep our community safe and healthy by following the state and federal guidelines for this race. This event means a lot to us, and the cause is close to our hearts. We are committed to holding a successful fundraiser for the DAV Department of Massachusetts and hope you will join us!

DAV Massachusetts does not condone group running, nor pre- or post-run gatherings during the COVID-19 crisis. Please follow CDC Guidelines to protect yourself and your community. We ask that you run or walk any 5K course from your home.

Start Time
Whenever you want! However you decide to complete your 5 kilometers is up to you, just practice social distancing along the way!

Now let’s go out, run, walk or roll, raise money for to support our local veterans, and celebrate DAV’s 100th anniversary!
